Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough balls- on the run protein

Sinfully delicious, but secretly powerful. These cookie dough balls are loaded with protein, keep me full, and fuel my long runs. Made with my favorite Gnarly Nutrition vegan vanilla protein powder—they’re my go-to refuel on the trails.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup gluten free flour (Link to what I use)

  • 1 individual package of Gnarly Vanilla Protein powder (use code Mule20 for 20% discount)

  • 1 healthy sized tablespoon of “only peanuts” peanut butter

  • 1 tablespoon real maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 to 1/2 bag of no sugar added chocolate chips (Link to what I use)

  • 2–4 tablespoons water or milk (to adjust dough consistency)

Directions:

Mix the ingredients:

  1. Combine the gluten free flour, protein powder, peanut butter, real maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until the mixture is well-combined.

  2. Add water or milk a tablespoon at a time, mixing until the dough reaches a soft, cookie dough consistency. I use my hands to get all the ingredients to bind together.

  3. Stir in the chocolate chips.

  4. Form into individual cookie dough balls and store in fridge!
